Hi! I haven't been a very good blogger here on blogger.com but I think I've found a way to force myself into keeping up better.
Mostly over the last year or so since I was last here I've been mostly doing my thing via LibraryThing. "My Thing" being reading everything under the sun, finding new stuff to read, creating mountains of unread books around my house (thanks a lot BookMooch!!!) and, lastly, reviewing everything that I've read. I'm part of the 50 Book Challenge and also the Go Review That Book! groups and then I saw "The TBR Challenge". I know, I know, I probably don't need another challenge, but this one sounded like something that I not only would like to be part of, but hopefully something I can actually accomplish. This is especially appealing to me as I've failed miserably in my resolution to to decrease my tbr pile to under 175 before buying any new books. Instead, I've increased from 200 at the beginning of the year to 235 now.
I am starting this rather late in the season as the challenge is supposed to go from January to December, but I'm hoping that it is flexible enough to allow late entries (please, please!) starting in August.
So, without further adieu I'll list my 12 books to read along with my 12 alternates:
The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau
Colin's Conquest by Lisa Renee Smith
Hero's Unwrapped a Linden Bay Anthology
